Luna is the ancient Roman goddess most commonly personifying the moon as a counter to her brother Sol, depicting the sun. As the winter Solstice brings the shortest daylight periods of the year, we look to the moon to shine light into the darkness. (Interestingly, Luna is the alchemical name for silver.)
Additionally, in the same way the moon is free spinning about its axis and is surrounded by a silver halo which often accompanies the moon in the night sky, the quartz stone spins at the flick of the wearer's finger.
Made with a 12mm semi-precious matte quartz, hammered silver wire, and a sterling silver finish chain. Fidget-spinner necklace.
